Description: Traumatized parts live in “trauma time.” When triggered, they do not realize that they are reliving the past, keeping individuals in a flight/fight/freeze loop. By orienting parts to time and place, a person’s system can relax, reducing dramatic triggers and aiding stabilization in Phase 2 of EMDR therapy. Join us for a three-hour live virtual class where you will learn how trauma impacts time perception and discover the effective technique of orienting parts to time and place. Gain practical skills to assist clients in stabilizing and reducing triggers through this innovative approach.
